A development plot near Newton Aycliffe was due to start development, but the site was holding a mature tree line, dense scrub and a bank of self-seeded sycamores. The client needed the whole plot clear, level and ready for the groundworks contractor to take over.

We surveyed the site and confirmed the work sat outside any TPO, then quoted the clearance as a fixed price with a defined handover condition: level ground, no stumps, no arisings.

Large trees were felled with machinery where the ground allowed and dismantled where they stood close to the boundary. The scrub was cleared to the line, stumps were ground below ground level and every last bit of arisings left site. The plot was handed over level and clean, ready for the next phase, with a completion note for the client's file.
