Tree work on a business park has to fit around the people using it. We plan which parking bays need closing, when delivery routes must stay open and how tenants will be told. You get a record of the work after each visit.

Planning around tenants and occupiers

We split the work into agreed areas and phases so the park can keep operating. Before the first visit, we mark the work areas, areas still in use and routes to keep clear on a plan. We also agree with the site manager who will notify tenants, what they need to know and how much notice to give.

Tell us about loading times, customer visits and delivery schedules in advance. We can then plan around them rather than change the arrangements on the day.

Car parks, access and pedestrian routes

We choose machinery to suit the access. A compact machine may be a better option if larger equipment would need much more of the car park closed off.

• Bay closures planned so a set number stay available, and released as soon as the work above them is finished
• Delivery and service routes kept open, or a diversion agreed in writing before the day
• Pedestrian routes separated from the work area, with signage and barriers as the method statement specifies
• Where equipment can set up without blocking turning circles or emergency access
• Fire and emergency routes confirmed before any closure

Out of hours and phased programmes

Work can be arranged before tenants arrive, after closing, at weekends or across several visits. Out-of-hours work costs more per hour, and we show that in the quote so you can weigh it against the disruption of closing busy areas during the day.

What a programme looks like

We start with a site assessment and a list of the trees and work needed. We identify urgent jobs, work that can wait and tasks worth grouping into one visit to reduce setup costs. After each visit, you receive a short record of the trees worked on, what was done, any findings and what is still outstanding.

Handover and records

At the end of each phase, the completion record includes any changes to the agreed work and why they were needed, photographs where useful and waste records for material removed. Keep it with your site records for future questions from tenants or insurers and for your health and safety file.

What is priced separately

The items below are not included unless stated in your quote. If you need them, we will agree the cost before starting.

• Traffic management orders, road closures and highway permits, unless quoted separately
• Reinstatement of kerbs, tarmac, drain covers or line markings beyond the work area
• Grounds maintenance, litter picking and general landscaping
• Tenant liaison costs and out of hours security arrangements

• Any constraints on bay closures, deliveries or noise at particular times
